Calling all Lumix GF1/ GF2 Owners!

Wondered if anyone has the Lumix GF1, considering upgrading to the GF2 or currently just purchased the GF2 model.

Im looking for my first DSLR and looking at considering the GF1 and then noticed the GF2 may be worth the wait as its release date in UK is Feb.

I am purely after a DSLR to be used for general photography, mainly Motorsport, so a fast speed and zoom is needed. So the best bet is to get the Lumix with the 14-42 lens over the pancake lens option.

Another use would be mounting it to the inside of a car for race footage. The GF2 has a much improved sound quality, 1080 Full HD recording and external mic.

I have managed to find a supplier in the UK who are selling (pre-order) the GF2 for the same price as the GF1 is priced elsewhere.




Any comments or advice would be super.
