GM Crocus

These are the bluest crocuses I have ever seen. I did not know there was a blue species ... lovely light and DOF, I like this one!!!

Holy Toledo, those are GORGEOUS!!! The shades of blue and purple are delightful. Love the dof and composition. Nicely shot, Fangman

Beautiful! The color is just plain amazing!

Taken and composed as a competition entry to satisfy "Judges rules" Angles, thirds, point of interest - lead the eye in etc.,"
Standard pinky-mauve crocus and the GM stands for "Gerically Modified".
Mainly reds removed in Hue-saturation to give the "Cambridge Blue. Got my first 20/20 in competition - Fooled 'em! Have given copies up to A3 size to friends and colleagues to be framed as it suited their decor from living-kitchen bed and bathrooms!

That explains the unusual colour!!!!
Congrats on the 20/20 in the competition!
