Can you recharge a Canon G12 battery with a USB cable?

If you could figure out the output voltage and amps of the actual charger you may be able make a USB rig. Not sure why you’d want to since chargers made for that battery are dirt cheap to buy.

Newbie question! I ordered a charger w/two replacement batteries, and a charger for the car, for $25.00. So I'll be good to go.
