Can You Smell it!!

Dodging a little rain on my walk this afternoon. I ducked in the coffee shop and got a cup. They had the roaster cooling beans. It's one of the best smells in the world! Damn hard to photograph though with that spot light on the temp gauge.

I worked in a coffeehouse that roasted it own beans in house.

I will confirm that it is indeed one of the best smells ever. Right up there with bacon frying and fresh baked bread.

Thanks. I love the look of that machine almost as much as the smells it makes. This time of year they keep the shop doors open and you can smell the coffee roasting all over the block.

Nothing quite like a coffee break on a photo outing - I do it every time I go out around the city or anywhere else there's a coffee shop. Good business strategy on their part, leaving the door open.
