In the early 1800's Indiana decided to move products by water rather that build roads. This a working remnant of the 69 mile Whitewater Canal system that once connected to the Ohio river. It now severs as a tourist attraction providing 30 minute canal boat rides.

This is a unique canal aqueduct next to a railroad track, both spanning a 16 foot creek ravine.
