Canon 24-70 2.8 II noise?

hey guys so i got my 24-70 mkII last week and at first i noticed the zoom ring was tight and made a sort of clicking sound which i wasn't use to hearing, though that has been a known occurrence with this lens and fortunately after using it for just under a week that has pretty much gone. But i am getting a squeaking sound when i zoom from 28-24mm. I'm wondering if this is a normal occurrence and will disappear with use or if there is something wrong with my lens.

I dont know whether to take it back to where i bought it and get a replacement lens or just leave it alone as it is not affecting the performance of the lens (and my copy is very sharp).

Whats your opinion on this?
