I recently purchased this camera and lens kit in march of this year, with a 3 year transferable warranty good from march of 2010. I have not used it much, only charged the battery twice. And always had a UV filter on the lens. It comes with all the original packaging ,accessories(many still sealed), and lens. The camera is in like new condition with no scratches.
