Hi There

Because i have switched to Nikon i´m cleaning out all my Canon gear.
For starters i put this one for sale :

Its a : Canon EF 70-200mm F/2.8 L IS USM

Bought 18 Months ago new.
In perfect mint shape, no scratches or tears anywhere.
Never used in the rain or near sandy and dusty places.
Comes complete with its box and all accessories.
My asking price : 800,- or any good offer

This same photo was used on another forum [ Canon ] EF 70-200mm F/2.8 L IS USM The same user had 3 items for sale and after payment did not deliver (and didn't log on to the forum either). Text is similar.

Sold !! : Sold Same ad. On the Belgian photoforum belgiumdigital.com he claimed to live in the south of Belgium close to Luxemburg (very handy as most users are in Holland and the northern part of Belgium). He uses at least 3 photography forums selling the same stuff (some using ebay pictures Uses the name Marcel Legrand on Belgian forum and Danny on Photography Ireland Registers, puts ads on and after 5-10 days doesn't log in anymore (after the items are "sold").

I am also from the Belgian photography foruum and got in touch with the admin of the Irish forum. One of his members also 'bought' the 70-200 and then didn't hear from the seller again. I have heared that the seller is due to return today and the admin would keep me posted about this.

their admin told me that in fact he did and he was very surprised that the lens hadn't arrived yet..., he would keep me posted about how things evolved

Strange that he posted "Still for sale on Jan 10th while he posted "Yes sorry its sold !" the same day on Sold !! : Sold (same avatar and profession) on both forums. Any other news? Buyer received anything?
