Canon G6 or Canon Digital Rebel 330D

The rebel's buffer is not fast enough to take advantage of 40x cards i n my experience. Save money on a 4x card, unless you are planning on upgrading to a 20D or better at some point.

What is the best lense for long distance or landscape shot? I've already start looking around for a 50mm f/1.8 as suggested. My priority lense is definitely landscape - there's a lot of stuff to shot in New Zealand. I will not be going after a wide-angle lense until some time later. Bear in mind my camera comes with a EF-S 18-55mm f/ 3.5-5.6 lense.

Also, any suggestion on lense-cleaning kit?
