Canon point and shoot

I have a Canon A10 camera that came with a 8 meg card. I want to get a larger CF card but the smallest capacity I have seen now is 1 gig. Will that work? Bear in mind, I have been shooting film for nearly thirty years and only use this camera to post pictures on auction sites.

It should work, but I have heard that some older cameras don't know what to do with large cards. I guess you could try it out and see if it works. Either buy one from someplace with a good return policy...or just go into a camera shop and ask to try one out.
