Canon Powershot S1IS - what say ye?

I've got this baby about a month ago. I like it, but the thing is, I've only had a cheap a$$ HP point and shoot digicam before. I don't know how it compares to the other cameras.

The other thing is: I want to protect the lenses. Can I buy a protective glass to cover the lenses? It looks like they have somthing outside to put it on, but I am not sure where to buy one.

i like pro1 more than S1
it's not only S1 has black body and the photo quility is better
anyway no matter you use which camera
use it well , take more good photos
