Canon T2i/550D issues

I am a beginner and am having difficulties with my Canon T2i getting sharp images most of the time. I have two lenses, Tamron 18-270mm F/3.5-3.6 wih VC image stabilizer and also Canon 50mm EF 1:1.4.
I have tried all different setting but still get fuzzy images. Can someone please advise as to what I may be doing incorrectly or should try. I am worried that there is something wrong with the camera, but before I try to find a way to fix it, wanted to run this by the collective wisdom.

Some sample images with EXIF data would be helpful.

If you use Live View, you can zoom in and focus manually. If you put the camera on a tripod, or on a table, focus manually with Live View and take the picture, is it still fuzzy?

Yes, I tryed everything and it still fuzzy.

Its not the camera, I can almost guarantee it.

The first pic looks like you moved while pressing the shutter. You are zoomed all the way in here, so any small movement will be magnified. 1/180 shutter speed probably wasn't fast enough to stop the movement with the added magnification of the zoom. Try using a tripod.

I'm not sure what you are seeing with the second picture. What is in focus seems ok, but maybe I'm not looking at it right.
