Canon t6i vs Nikon D5600

Which would you recommend?

Both are capable, you won't go wrong with either

Both good, will give nod to Nikon due to sensor.
Advantages are
Removal of AA filter means it can produce sharper images
More dynamic range
Auto Focus sytem has 39 points vs 19 points on the Canon

If both cameras feel comfortable to you. The Nikon is the better choice for sensor performance.

The D5600 is better in color rendition, 2 full stops better in dynamic range, and quite a bit better in ISO performance. The Canon T6i is almost 2 years older than the D5600. Other features they are pretty well matched (other than the point made in the post above).
