CAN'T MAKE UP MY MIND

I mainly photograph insects etc and at present use a Canon 7D with Canon 100mm f2.8 macro with MT24-EX flash.
I want to upgrade but can't make up my mind between Sigma 150mm f2.8 EX DG OS HSM APO macro or the Canon 100mm f2.8 IS USM macro
Can anyone help

If you aren't going for the L then get the Sigma.

Additionally the extra 50mm on the Sigma will help incredibly with insects... And the teleconverter is nice. I know this from experience.

I think the Sigma 150mm macro is a beautiful imager! It has lovely bokeh. I have seen some fantastic insect pics shot with it by people based in Malaysia, as well as a lot of nice portraiture/beauty/glam stuff shot with it. it's one of Sigma's crown jewels.
