Cant upload pics in my thread!

I printed out the directions to upload pics directly to the forum and have followed them step by step but it is still not allowing me to upload them. I don't even have the option to. At the bottom of the new post box it says "You may not post attachments" and "img code is on." Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong?

You are not reading the directions posted in the sticky thread, that mam is what you are doing wrong! I would just tell you but you know how it goes.. "teach a man to fish..."

To upload them directly from your computer you must have a paid membership. It's simpler to post on Flicker then link them.

I was reading the directions posted in the sticky thread, I printed them out so that I could follow them, step by step.

Thank you for giving me a straight answer. I do not have a paid membership which would explain why I can not upload them directly from my computer. Is the paid membership worth it in your opinion?

The whole first part of the tutorial is how to post a picture when you are not a paid member.... Must not have printed that page.

Not to upload, I had one last year and I find it really didn't do much for me. I'm on flicker and I just simply select "view" sizes, select the size I want to post then right click "copy" and paste in the text box.
