Capitol building at night

I'm not very good at long exposure images. Gave this one a try. Thoughts?

I also got this one from the opposite direction that I kinda liked.

the only thing I noticed you might fix if you want, is lens distortion.. look at the buildings

My eyes were clearly aligned along the middle and I didn't even see the slight bldg distortion in # 1.
# 1 is worth the TPF month nomination I think

Thanks Maria. I see what you mean with the distortion. It was unfortunately fairly pronounced distortion in the original image. I did my best to correct it, but perhaps I can adjust it a tad more.

Thanks for the feedback, FanBoy! I tried a couple different crops with the second one. I feel like if I crop more off the top, it feels like too much of a pano, being too short and wide. I guess perhaps taking some off either side might help that. I'll play with it and see what I come up with.

I like #2 better...it looks like an architectural drawing. No, I wouldn't crop anymore than it already has there. It is beautiful enough as it is....

I agree with the image looking too much like a pano if much is cropped; that was my initial thought, and I personally do not like the "smallness" of some extreme pano shots. To me though, it looks as if something is 'missing' with all that blackness. And I do love the symmetry on this shot. Wow!
