OH, the memories! I've been doing professional photography for over 25 years at all the beaches in and around those areas.

I like the bike in #1--it just needs a better environment with a cleaner background.

Really like #2 and #8--I have a thing for long skinny formats!

Hey, you need a much better beach to practice your craft. Two words--NATURAL BRIDGES. It's by far the most beautiful and diverse beach in northern California (I know--I've shot at most every beach in northern California down to Santa Barbara).
In fact, if you have access to that bike again, take it to Natural Bridges and place it along side the road down to the beach. On the left, just beyond the toll booth where the old split-rail fence is in the background--take a look.

My lab is over there too. I've been using BAY PHOTO LAB since 1988. Really good lab; great people!

Nice conversions overall. I like the clean look you achieved. My favorites of these are the architectural/ panorama scenes.

cc are for the last photo and this is just and only my opinion

that's a snapshot and conversion is not that successful.
if I were you I would definitely retake this photo because it's a great subject and you can do it better.
Get down, don't shoot from above. watch your background, watch those lines in the background and the foreground. there's no need for your viewers to look at that bush.

sorry if it sounds harsh butif you want a better photo you'll have to work a bit more on it

again it's jmho and others may disagree
