#1, given the harsh sunlight I think you did pretty well on this one. I like the island in the background, too.
Yes, go for a tighter crop on #2 and see how it looks.

OMG what A GORGEOUS woman for your model!

#1 Harsh sunlight! You needed to place her back to the sun or use some type of fill/modifier. Background, pose and model (again) lovely.

#2 Compositionally challenged. I probably would have moved her lower in the frame and lost the top so that she and the falls are both contained.
