Cascades Critique Welcomed

I'm looking for some feedback on this image. This was taken in late afternoon on the Broad River in North Carolina.

I like it, I would have cropped it a little higher and to the left, to lose a little over the lower water and the branch sticking out in the frame.

The background trees and things are coloured nicely. And lit well.

Thanks CdTSnap. I hadn't noticed that branch when I edited it. I'll have to see if I can recrop it and keep the feel of the scene. I was surprised that the trees in the background came out as well as they did.

I would lighten the right side, the vignette is a little heavy and distracting.
Nice choice of shutter speed.

I like the clarity of the trees as others have pointed out. Nice shot. Where is it? Just curious if you can crop up and get more of those trees. Not sure if it would look any better but just a thought.

I have the same camera. Just got it in March. How do you like yours? I love mine but since it's my first SLR I don't have a baseline to compare.

1. i feel the color on photo leas than when you see it with your eye.
2. the rock in right, i think it's so confuse for a good photo.

Thanks afoto much appreciated. I was trying to bring the focus back to the water because those large rocks on the sides are bridge supports.

Thank you. This was taken near Lake Lure, North Carolina. That was the crop straight from the camera. I actually had my tripod in the water and my camera was sitting about a foot above the water. I love the D5200. This is my 4th DSLR and they keep getting better and better.

The SOOC raw file was actually quite cool and I had to warm it up quite a bit. This was pretty close to the image as I saw it that day. This was very early spring and not a lot of green leaves yet. It was an overcast day too so that flattened the light a lot. Not sure which rock you are mentioning but if it's the large one then that's a bridge support. I had some other photos where I cropped it tighter on the water but they didn't look very balanced. The structures add some balance and leads your eyes to the trees.
