What is it about this photo?
Is it mostly desaturated to b+w, then tinted, with the cat in selective colouring? That is what it looks like to me, but I am wondering and wondering.
What I like (for a change) is the blurred rock in the foreground. Gives the photo depth.

Mystery .... that's the word that I think of when I see the photo .... not mysterious... just mystery and I really can't put into words why. 
Maybe it reminds me of a mystery book cover? But I do like it
