Very nice shot. Other then on this forum, I have only seen one waxwing in nearly two years. makes me wonder on the population of the species.

Beautiful shot! I think we have some of this in my area...I am not sure. I always thought they are the female species of the cardinals. I have to go into birding...

Very nice. I like how you have framed the bird with the branches and flowers. IMHO, this helps to focus the viewer's eye on the bird - your main subject.

Beautiful shot and that natural frame makes this complete. Great to see and yep, they are a gorgeous bird alright. Something very smooth in the feathering, almost a velvet look. Excellent BG and a sharp shot. That touch of red is amazing, great stuff Rod.
