apparently she's blind now, but still gets along nicely; waiting for feeding time i suppose. she also happens to be the oldest sea lion in captivity.

it's a lovely little zoo, although i think some of the bird enclosures are too small. I have a love/hate relationship with zoos. I traveled about 275 miles to get to this one

I love zoos. I have been waiting on cooler weather so I can go to the Philly Zoo. I like the set. Do you remember what the bird in your third photo is? It has a really beautiful pattern in the plumage.

Nice set, but a pity you didn't venture north to the Bronx Zoo. It is amazing. (But the firefox was sleeping there too, the last time I was there.
