Cheapest camera with remote trigger? (for book scanner)

I need a camera to make a bookscanner like this DIY Book Scanner • View topic - scann's and bond's book scanner

Only need minimum 5 MP. Inferred remote or cable remote is good.

Most important is cost since I am going to buy 2 of them.

There are no cheap cameras with that kind of remotes, I know of. One of the cheapest is the Panasonic FZ200.
There are cheaper options if you could use Wifi and trigger the camera with
a smartphone or tablet.
Cheap wifi cameras are the Panasonic TZ55 (ZS35) or Sony WX350.
A better one is the Canon S110, but more expensive.
