Chrome trouble

After a year or so of trouble free use, now having trouble with Chrome on TPF.

Often the Quick Reply box does not allow text entry.
Cannot edit threads, they open without existing text.

Any other reports of that?
Using Chrome 33.0.1750.146 latest version on Win 7 64 bit

Chrome's on board style of handling often updated extensions and plugins is sketchy. They don't allow you to manually update, say flash player, and if they haven't done it for you you're out of luck untill they do. I use firefox for a backup browser. It doesn't load pages as fast but it works when chrome doesn't.

Chrome on MAC here, I haven't noticed any new issues.

It must be how Chrome is rendering vbulletin instructions

from vbulletin forum - same problem and they suggest plugin is the problem
