It's awfully small to appreciate...at the size it is shown at it looks like he city buildings have been over-sharpened terribly. The sky has a weird, overly-blue intensity, on one side of the image, but the upper left corner looks purple/violet tinged, and just, well, weird...As to the rocks...at this size (small) they are only marginally interesting; but I have the feeling that if this image were to be seen larger, or printed at decent size, that the rocks would hold enough information to be quite interesting!!!
One of the biggest probkems with artistic landscape photography is the brutality of web compression...it's like a beautiful Wagner piece, played back on a single, blown 3 inch speaker that's all that remains of the former sound system of a 1988 Toyota Corolla... your d-slr's big, 60-inch-tall image file is about 4 inches tall on my 30 inch monitor...so, C&C'ing this type of pic on-line is just so,so difficult!

Okay, with all that typed out, I JUST went to Flickr and looked at the Large size...the rocks and water are much more interesting. it does look a www bit oversharpenened, and the violet undertones in the sky look worse big. I'd LOVE to look at this at a 20 inch tall print...
