Classic Camera photography: Yashica

I found a 1970 Yashica, after some online research I discovered it was.. an Electro 35.. or Electro G35, something to that extent. Anyway, I bought a battery adapter to replace the mercury-based battery and it started to work again. So I'm not really sure how to take photos using it.. the exposure meter seems to have just 2 lights that flash up... anyone know a good site for classic camera photography. I don't want to waste a whole roll of film.

Oh right, I forgot about that site, he's the guy I bought my battery adapter from. He has an excellent PDF manual for operation of my camera... can't wait to try it out.
