Classic Rose

Here is a shot of a classic rose and I did a process called dragnification on it in photoshop. I'm trying to get the process down so this is kind of an experimental posting. I don't see mush work done with that process here. C&C are very much welcome.

What kind of film are you using? It looks pretty rough.

Andrzej Dragan has become famous for his manipulation of local contrast in photos, although it's all based on painting techniques that have been around for hundreds of years. Google "local contrast" to get past the hype, the plug-ins, etc..., and learn the basics of what is going on.
