Truly elegant British motorcycles.
The Vincent Black Shadow was the first "super-bike" with a 125mph top speed in the early 1950s.
Engine and gearbox were stressed frame members. Dry sump twin just shy of 1000cc
Black Shadow engine and gearbox were covered in black, porcelain-like enamel--Very sexy!

I'd take a Brit bike over a Hog every time. Also like Honda's from the early 70's but then I owned a CB 350 for a couple years.

There's a vintage British bike club in Toronto: Vincent, Matchless, Ariel, BSA, Triumph, Norton, Royal Enfield. Droolworthy!
