What's new

Closed flower shop

I dont know how many exposures you got, but I dont think it was enough. I like the shot you have, but it could have been outstanding.

I actually quite like this. I think you have a good balance with the darks outside the shop still having enough contrast to the tones inside.

My only annoyance would be the blue/yellow/red colours in the lights from left to right.

I will post the raw files, if anyone is interested, when I get home.

Is it really necessary to not having shadow areas?

Your files open right up in Photomatix.

That's a really nice example of the magic of night-time HDR. If the images are processed correctly, they often 'glow' as though they were lit from behind.

Bynx's version ftw. I'll have to try and recreate something like that.

There was some sort of lens flare I took care of. I extended your shadows below the windows to bring the focus of the image to the lights. And a few other minor adjustments:

Love the amazing details in Bynx's version. Fantastic processing.

I love the details in Bynx's version, but I also love the hazy glows in Rotan's. It is amazing how one image can have two separate, but still enjoyable endings. And props to the original photographer, I think those pictures you get when you don't really intend to take on mean a lot more sometimes then when you purposely set out to shoot a specific target.

I like them
Really cool, my night time HDR attempt was a total fail.

I'm actually not a fan of the "glow" look.
I think it causes fatigue to the eyes
BUT I'm just biased cause it gives me the same "vision" I get when my contacts get dry..
Haha

Good stuff.

Very nice picture and processing. While I do like your processing Compaq, I think Bynx takes the cake with this one. Very well down! Thanks for sharing :)
