Thanks, I just had to clean up the drool on my chin again. I've wanted this camera for awhile now.

I am going to say that I waited most of my life for this body and I did not jump on the 50 or even the first ten of this one as I shoot portraits and it was primarily a landscape slow to focus but the new V glass and the x2d2 are game changers. The colors and dynamic range make me think why did I wait so long then I shot it in single focus and was glad I did after I changed it back to continuous focus. The only drawback is in ADF-c it is only 14 bit so for slow movement or static I use af-s to get the 16 bit. I love the colors and am thinking of this as my landscape and portrait camera and the nikons will be wildlife sports and faster movement. Also you can get HDR if you use the right settings too but it has to be A S or P not manual

Back in the day I had a HB 500 C with an 80mm lens. I can only imagine what these shots must look like full rez on your monitor. Thanks for sharing.

great series, but that second one looking through the pillars under the pier is my favorite of the bunch.
