This might be better bigger, but I find the indistinctness of the standing figure to be a problem for me.

I like the composition, and unlike Lew I think hitting those christian symbols is pretty powerful even or nonbelievers who happen, like me, to live in a largely christian society. If I could make out the standing figure better, I would not be distracted by that figure, and would probably enjoy the composition and tonality more.

Thanks Andrew. You are the second to mention that the figure isn't clear enough; I have enough scope so perhaps I will lighten the piece in the area concerned and see how it stands up.

Like almost every picture of children, this picture is mostly and best appreciated by those who have an interest in the subject.

Every aspect of photography is like that. Macro is appreciated by people the like macro. Astrophptography is appreciated by people that like astrophptography. Etc...

I think it's a good shot. The light is where it should be.

It's a cultural icon that everybody understands even if they don't agree with it.

Thanks Tiller. Yes, we don't have to agree with everything we see or hear to recognise what is being shown or said. Often times we are able to take the nucleus of an idea and apply that to our own situation and circumstances even if our position is different. Some things are universal.
