Concurrence for DxOMark - LenScore, SenScore

Well, the main advantage is that DxOMark ratings now have a concurrence.

The usefulness of the ratings is however probably even less than those of DxOMark; for at least, on DxOMark, you can browse the findings in more detail. On LenScore.org and SenSocre.org, you only get a final rating, and sometimes its very hard to find any meaning at all for the findings (what the heck is a rating of Bokeh ?).

Unless one's pet brand doesn' score so well, then it's proclaimed to be anything but science. It will not take too long before the criticism of the LenScore and SenScore numbers starts appearing. Pretty soon we will be treated to analysis about how performance is meaningless, and that everything is, you know, mostly equal. A $399 point and shoot is equal to a Canon 1Dx. Everybody knows that, right?
