Some may remember the left half of this from last June (or not- don't remember if I posted it here or not!). The right side is from yesterday. Taken on the way home from vacationing on San Juan island.

The coastal areas of the state have been inundated by heavy rains all week. This is one of the results. The perspective is goofy because the earlier shot is scanned from film & the new one was with the Coolpix. The big rock in the center & the log will give you an idea what the difference in the amount of water going over the falls actually is.

Oh, yeah, this is Snoqualmie Falls, just off Interstate 80 in central Washington state.

Mindy, doesn't everybody in the Northwest have a pic of Sno Falls? I, on the other hand, am the only person on earth that doesn't have a pic of Multnomah Falls, so I need to fix that soonish.

Wow! Impressive side-by-side comparison there... :thumbsup: What a difference a big rain event makes, eh? You could wash away a few cows over those falls!
