Some old reef pics of mine. I know some arent the best by anymeans, but with the subject matter even bad pics can still look beautiful. These were taken about 5 years ago, with a D40, kit glass and eBay filters

if you want a proper c&c, please post one or two. Here are just too many photos to say something about

Still nice marine life you had there, have you still got your reef aquarium?
Nice colours on the fire tail goby by the way!

Looks like a nice tank -- it makes me miss mine, although it's been a good dozen years or more. I remember having a really tough time getting any decent photos, though I think I was trying to shoot with a Canon G3 at the time! Although the focus isn't quite as sharp as you'd like on most of these, I really like the colors. Do you still have the setup?

The best one is #5, the Trigger Fish. It's really to bad it's not in focus. I use to have a marine setup and bought what was supposed to be a dwarf Lion Fish mislabeled by the pet shop. Turns out I had a Black Volitan Lion i paid $25.00 for and It grew to about 16 inches long and It swallowed everything that fit in it's mouth.Eventually I traded him in and got a $150.00 store credit. The young lady just dumped it in a tank with no acclamation at all. A few weeks later I went back to cash in on my store credit and seen the lion was doing well,She then told me it eat everything in the tank.

I never got pricked or stung by my lion but my buddy has and he said it's so much worse then any wasp, hornet or bee sting you could imagine and would not make that mistake ever again. I use to clean the inside glass bare hands but always kept an eye of his location.
