You are so heavy on the contrast. It's blowing out your whites and causing your blacks to have no detail in them. You lose a lot of interest in those two areas and the blown whites suck your eyes right to it.

Agreed. And shoot slower. There's no EXIF data in the images, but flowing water should be shot with a tripod at a slow shutter speed to give it some flowing look. The slower the shutter speed the more silky it looks. I like about 1/15 second or slower depending on how fast the water is moving.

I can change th econtrast but th eshutter I graduated to this the rest are way to bright. canon T3i canon 100 400mm shot at 100mm might go again and change from f5 to 11 or higher to compensate for a slower shutter.

Your camera embeds EXIF data in the image. Some editing software, as well as some web sites, will remove it. I don't know which is the case but it isn't there now.

I must be in a negative mode this morning. I was beginning to think if I saw one more slow shutter waterfall, I'd just go to the attic and jump out the window. So, here's some faster speeds. Sorry, they just are working for me. For me, the fast shutter speed moves them from "photography as a art" into the "snapshot" realm. I'm the snapshot king. I can't believe I just wrote that. :scratch:
