Both very neat. Your processing makes them pop.

Both good, but the first works much better - more sweep to the rails and the little bit at the top that is not tracks and pavement actually adds to the impact somehow. Usually with a simple abstract composition, anything else in the frame detracts, but if I cover the top it doesn't seem to me it works as well.

I would like to see #1 from a different angle, curving around the camera and disappearing into the horizon (yes I know, SF, Horizon, haha) would be very interesting.

Keep to a low angle, like in #1, It works better; giving more depth and making the picture less flat.
