Crissal Thrasher - Bosque

[Glenn Bartley]

Obviously when anyone thinks of Bosque the "big three" come to mind (Snow and Ross's Geese and Sandhill Cranes). For me though I was just as excited to get after some of the really cool other birds down there such as this beautiful Crissal Thrasher. I guess that is the birder in me

All the best!

What a beautiful shot!! what a sharp , talking eye contact!!! no dominating colours and yet the image dominates the mind of the viewer

Like Frequency wrote, this image dominates the mind of the viewer. Indeed! SO subtle, and yet SO picture-perfect the way that branch enters in the lower right hand corner and the way the bird is perched. Lovely lighting as well, and a wonderful background.
