Critique some of my pics!

Hello all! I'm very much a newb in photography, I have been shooting with the equipment in my signature for a couple weeks now and editing in Adobe light room 5.
Let me know how I did...

I shot all of these in RAW format.
Some pics of my Reef aquarium shot using my Sony A6000 with the Sigma 30mm F2.8 Prime lens in Manual mode (Trying to practice)



The following outdoor shots are shot with the Sony A6000 again in manual mode but with a Canon EF Telephotic lens 75 - 300mm F3.5 to 5.6 in manual mode. (I was experiencing some really bad exposure with this setup so I was finally able to figure out what settings to shoot with, otherwise I wouldn't be shooting such shots with a zoom lens) Also a couple were shot with the Sigma lens.

You will have better luck with C&C if you just post one or two pictures for review. The aquarium shots look a little too blue for me.

Woops, I guess I did post this in the wrong section. I'll just leave these here for fun then and try coming up with something for critique. Also the aquarium pictures are actually accurate as that is how it looks in person due to the unique spectrum needed to grow the corals. They are two T5 HO bulbs with 20k spectrum and two T5 HO at 14k so it's a lot of blues and purples in the light.

If it doesn't look natural I assume I can use Photoshop to dull down the purples and blues.

It's a marine tank. I used to have 1. Yeah it will look kinda blue when the T5 lights are on.


This was mine before it was torn down. with 2x250W + 1x400W metal halide + few T5 lightings on.

Yup exactly!

Oh man that's a beautiful aqua scape you had there! Not to mention some powerful lighting!

I love the natural sun look metal halides give.

Oh I'm familiar with that feeling all to well! I've taken down multiple tanks and each and every time I run into someone with an aquarium the urge kicks in and I end up putting together another tank.
