Cropping advice

Okay obviously I could come in a bit more from the right side, but my concern is what should be done about the ref at the top of the picture? If I crop down to put more focus on the players then that leaves a disembodied pair of legs awfully close to the subjects head.

lol no worries on the editing. Guess I need to brush up on my Gimp skills, I could never pull off something like that so quickly

It's quite possible they didn't use GIMP.

I'd leave the ref because he adds an element of additional drama to the image, get rid of the guy in the red shirt and get the main subject, the player with the ball out of the center of the image, horizontally.
