Nope, no hdr. That's actually very close to as shot, reduced the exposure a bit and some sharpening as I recall.

Yup.. stuff is about an inch thick and multipaned. Makes it a challenge to shoot through at times.

Then these are really great! I haven't shot through glass like that yet, but I bet it is a real pain in the neck!

Well you can pretty much forget about getting any kind of flash to work, CPL's really aren't an option for reducing reflections because the stuff reflects light on multiple levels at various angles.

So all you can do if you get a reflection is change position and angles, hopefully getting it either completely out of frame or pushing it far enough to the edges that you can crop/edit it out later.

In some places you can get close enough to the glass that you can get your lens hood next to it and that does great at cutting out those reflections, but in the cat complex they have barriers in front of the glass so you can't get that close. Makes for a lot of shuffling around to find just the right angle sometimes.. lol.
