I'm stuck guys. 5200 or 5300?
The only reason I may get a 5300 would be just for the built-in wifi.
Not for the body, battery life, Expeed 4 sensor, full HD 60 full frame progressive video recording and higher iso.

I have been getting negative impacts of WiFi used in 5300 making me hesitated to buy it or not.

Problems:
No connectivity to laptops to transfer files
Time taking file transferring - 20sec/full size photo meaning almost 10 minutes for 30 photos to transfer
Transfering raw to device and receiving jpg
Basic applications
Terrible battery drainage using wifi (no idea how much it drains, any info?)

As I havent tested any of the above, I cannot verify them. They are just users' comments.

Please make these clear for me if you ran tests on 5300' wifi or if you have read any trustworthy articles about wifi.

I think you would be much happier buying an inexpensive card reader and plunging it into your laptop to get your pics and files transferred plus the transfer time would be 4 to 5 times faster I believe. IMO I think the wifi is better used as a remote.

The wifi is handy as a remote or to transfer a single photo to email someone. The wifi transfer is always a JPEG no matter what you are saving on the card.
