awesome. I think the 2nd one is better if you crop it with wider ratio. Maybe put the dark color at bottom 1/3.

I like the first photo. I think there is too much luminance on the second photo.. the bird looks like plastic.

1 is awesome. Send it to the printer. I don't usually say that about photos, but that's one that I really like. You pushed the envelope a bit with the subject so close to the edge of the frame, but it works. Logically it works because a man caught in front of a waterfall looking thing would naturally create tension, the placement of the subject only adds to that. There's so much distance to traverse, but so little time (if he were in a position to cross it). This is of course, my opinion.

2 has a nice composition, but the processing doesn't work for me. It is heavy handed, but if toned back could produce a solid image.

Dam....these are great.

in #2 I really like the way you have water seen in 3 different ways, blue and painterly sweeping down leftward, then a clear transition before it changes direction and becomes more linear.
