What an interesting conversion. This totally looks backlit. I like it very much, but I may be influenced by the fact that I am shooting a lot of black and white backlit flowers lately, so, OBVIOUSLY, it is a theme of enormous brilliance.

Much better than the last daylily you had. Someone said that one was depressing and I think it was the fact that the flower wasn't fully opened or was beyond full bloom (according to general form).
This one is opened beautifully and the conversion of the colors on this one really make it pop. Nice.
