First day of 2011. Westernmost point of both mainland Portugal, mainland Europe and the Eurasian land mass.

1-1-11

edit: i have no idea why it looks to have so much bad quality. it's probably the resize, as the high-res doesn't look like this at all.

Pure Drama; stopped my breath for a while ;)

Regards :D

Beautiful shot, but I might crop a little on the left to de-center the rocks and emphasize the line from the rocks to the bright spot on the horizon. Great image either way, though.

Re the quality, how do you re-size? At least in PS, the option "bicubic smaller" should be selected to downsize images - it applies some sharpening to compensate for loss in quality from reducing the resolution.

I have to agree with the others -- I love the composition. Size matters a lot in images like this. It would work well printed big, if you've got the resolution.

Title adds a ton to this shot!! Beautiful!

Thank you everyone! Really appreciate it!

I always had the regular Bicubic set.
You mean the Bicubic Sharper?

I think it's just because the ocean looked really stormy that day, and with the resize, what seems to be nasty pixelizing, it's actually just the ocean.

Yes, Bicubic Sharper, I just opened CS5 to check. The other was my best guess from memory.
