Day Of the Eagles

[K9Kirk]

Had the best morning this morning, I spotted three bald eagles! I didn't get good shots of the first one, it's shadow side was to me with some harsh, late morning light backlighting it. Almost blinding it was but the other two I captured ok, I think.

I believe this is the first time I have ever seen the roof of an eagle’s mouth, Kirk. Nice shooting.

It started screeching when it's mate flew up and I started snapping. Glad you got to see one finally.

Great shots, Kirk. Amazing detail in the first one.

Thank you, everyone, I appreciate the feedback and compliments.

Awesome shots, Kirk! You can almost see the uvula on that first one... not sure if birds have uvulas, but it sounded good.

Thanks, Jeff. If not an uvula maybe a mouse.

Definitely outstanding shots!

Thank you, Joel.
