Dead leaf mantis!

[orionmystery]

Amazing camouflage of a dead leaf mantis nymph (Deroplatys sp.). I wouldn't have spotted it if it hadn't swayed itself a little too much in the wind.

Amazing creature. hard to see in the first two photos even when you know what to look for.

If I could comment on the photos I would say maybe half a stop over exposed.
