Dead wood for C&C

i would darken the grass just a hair.. but thats just me... also in regards to "adjusting the wb a bit" how do you adjust it a bit? you either adjust it, or you dont (i.e. you change the format of it.. either flash, sunlight, flourecent etc) i dont think there is a WB slide that you can adjust "a bit" is there????

I like it. I think the grass is a nice contrast to the deep blacks in the background. The branch looks like a steer skull.

I am referring to the color temperature scale. The white balance settings in the camera are merely predefined color temperatures if I understand correctly. The picture was shot in the cameras daylight wb setting (5500K) and I adjusted it to 7000K (perhaps that is more than a bit) in Photoshop.

Thanks for the advice on the grass. I'll play with it a bit.

I don't know about photoshop, but with Nikon's Capture Nx2 ,you can put in whatever temperature you want for white balance, so long as you shot in raw.
