Thats cool looks like fantasy land, has a dreamy vibe going on..this is style of HDR that I enjoy. few things I see is the whites in the sun are blown out but from past experience I think its really hard to not have that happen and have to learn how to tone it down without making the rest of the image suffer. I think you did a good job really close to making it flat white. I like the vignette around the image but probably because its how I like to do things.
Over all cool photo , is that snow on the ground?
I like it. The lighting really puts focus on the trees and the forest. The colors are nice as well.Appreciate your feedback. Yep, it's snow on the ground. As far the vignette, this was the natural lighting at the scene. In essence it produced a natural vignette. Even the originals before processing all had this lighting schemeThats cool looks like fantasy land, has a dreamy vibe going on..this is style of HDR that I enjoy. few things I see is the whites in the sun are blown out but from past experience I think its really hard to not have that happen and have to learn how to tone it down without making the rest of the image suffer. I would, however, look in the right top corner. I think that the HDR overemphasized the chromatic aberrations in the photo. If you want, you could go into your editing program and desaturate magentas. That should take care of the problem.
What an outstanding Landscape. I do agree that wider angle of view would have really helped the overall composition as you cut of the top of the dominant tree. The setting sun is perfect without any lens flare. Strong, natural color, and saturation comes right through to the viewer.
I'm in the camp of using of HDR to bring the full Dynamic Range succeeded perfectly.
