Deep in the cave

In the small town of Pindaya there is a cave system that is supposed to hold about 8000 statues of the Buddha. The cave depths are poorly lit, extraordinarily humid and damp and tripods aren't allowed. The lighting is some strange glaring fuorescents that produce an intense light where they point but seem to light the rest of the cave very little.

If there is interest I can post a set of pictures from the town and the caves to give you a better understanding but here is one image.
