Wow, that's a LOT OF INK!!! I'm not sold on the tone mapping of 1&2, with its muted color. IMO 4&5 does a better job highlighting the color of the Tats, but I can also see where it might overpower the rest of the frame, taking focus away from the face in 1&2. Regardless it is a GREAT SET!!! Well done.

Yeah, sometimes I find myself wanting similar amounts of ink, but I'm a bit of a baby when it comes to tattoo pain, despite having almost 30 tattoos myself.

1 and 2 gave me some trouble when it came to editing. When that happens, I tend to default to making as few changes as possible. Every adjustment I tried with those shots felt like it was too much. Thank you for the feedback.

Very compelling model. You always have the most interesting and beautiful subjects. I like all of these but 7 is my favorite.

Mad respect for an another vet but I'm not sure how I hurt him? The left side of his abs suggest he doesn't like me much. lol.

Great set I like shooting people with ink as well. I really like the ink to pop but your treatment on a few muted it a bit. I might try that on one of mine and see how I like it. Especially the ones with a lot of ink

Sometimes I like the ink to really pop when I think it should be the central focus. Other times making it pop just doesn't suit the portrait well. It's really case by case for me, especially with photo shoots like this where the only real goal is to make something simply for the sake of love of portrait photography.
